Medical Rehabilitation Center Most patients admitted to Union Hospital Medical Rehabilitation have special nutritional needs. A dietitian is available to help you understand the basics and importance of good nutritional care. The dietitian evaluates each patient's individual eating habits, dietary restrictions or special nutritional problems. Nutritional counseling is available for patients on special diets. Following the dietitian's recommendations is very important for your health and recovery. Pharmacy Since your admission to the hospital, your doctor may have prescribed new medications or changed your previous medications. A registered pharmacist is a member of the rehabilitation team. The pharmacist will arrange to meet with you and/or your family when needed. Some specific things the pharmacist does are:
